Hey all, I’m Jess Beeson and this is Queen Bee food blog. I’ll be sharing family recipes, toddler approved recipes, as well as reviews and telling you stories.
Before I jump into things, I’d like to tell you a little bit more about myself. I’m married to a wonderful and supportive man, Ryan. We met when I was 14, he was 17. He moved in next door, and well, the rest is history. We have a 2 year old daughter, her name is Valentina and and she is the sweetest, sassiest, most courageous girl I’ve ever seen. She never seizes to amaze us.
My husband and I love to travel and are still working on giving the travel bug to Valentina. Although we’ve only travelled the states together, we have dreams of travelling all around the world. I believe we can see the world through food.
We love to cook meals from around the globe. I’m Mexican and Italian, so those are my go-to’s when I’m in a pinch but Korean BBQ has really taken on a huge part of my cooking life. I really enjoy cooking old family recipes, it almost makes me feel like I’m going back in time.
My love of food stems from being surrounded by people I care about most. My family comes together every night around food, we talk about our day, work, what crazy thing Valentina did that day… You know, the normal stuff. But those so-called “normal nights” are my life, and I’m so grateful to have it with these two.
I honestly love to cook. I love bringing people together over food. I love watching people’s faces light up when they like something I made for them. I want to show you how fun and easy it is to cook, and hopefully I’ll inspire you to host a Sunday night family dinner or that huge holiday feast! There’s nothing in the kitchen we can’t do.
